Fluffles Friday!

I love this cat! He's so much fun with all the trouble he gets into. Here he is in the posies. I was dying to use up some of this Making Memories paper that I have had forever. So, hope you like it.

Have a wonderful weekend! XO, Mimi

Way To Go, Katie!

Woo hoo! Last night was the awards banquet for Katies high school athletes. She got her letter, a pin and certificate for girls weight lifting. I'm so proud of my girl. XO, Mimi

One for the Guys!

This was a quick and easy card with a masculine touch. I am lovin' that hodgepodge hardware! It was so much fun to play with.

To make the star burst, we used 4 large star punches. Super easy.

Love it! Happy Monday! XO, Mimi

Another Star is born!

Isn't this awesome?! We used the SU star punches and clear packing tape. Then you add the fine glitter. Voila'!

This sparkles beautifully IRL.

Thanks for looking. XO, Mimi

Stars and Stripes.

This is another one of the cards that I made with Debbie, on Thursday.

It turned out great. I love the glitter on the perimeter of the star and the way we did the ribbon! That was Debbie's idea.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a wonderful weekend! XO, Mimi

A Fabulous Day with Debbie!

I had such a wonderful day, yesterday, with my friend, Debbie. She brought all kinds of new SU stuff. I only ordered from the new catty last week. Ya know, money problems. But I was finally able to place a nice order and my new toys will be here Monday! Yay! So, until then, I played with hers.

This card is, as you see, very monochromatic. I kinda like it, though. Even though this stamp is not one of my favorites. I just think SU could have made her a little more attractive. I mean, really, who's chest looks like THAT!? My nickname for her is Bullet Boobs. I hope I don't offend anyone.

Do you see the beads on the table? Cool, huh?

Well, check back tomorrow for another Debbie and Mimi creation. XO, Mimi

Chocolate Moose, anyone?

I am so in love with Riley Moose. I colored him with some Copics and he looks chocolate, to me. He's just so sweet.

I have been very busy lately. As you can see, I haven't been posting much.

Softball has started and I am the Team Mom for my 8 and under team of girls. They are awesome!

Tuesday, I went over to Kirsten's to play. We haven't gotten together in so long. I stamped a bunch of Rileys and Elzybells and colored all of the brown parts, since I don't have a brown Copic yet.

Yesterday, I went "junkin'" with my Tuesday friends. We got together on Wednesday this week because at Salvation Army, on Wednesdays, clothes and linens are half price. I got some great buys! I got Maggie some uniform jumpers for school for $2.00 each. WOW!
Today, my friend and upline, Debbie, is coming over to play. Hopefully I will have some fun stuff to show you tomorrow.

Now I need to make a date with my buddy, Milissa. She and I haven't played in so long. I miss her!

Boy oh boy, being a SAHM, (Stamp at Home Mom) is like a full time job. LOL!

Thanks for coming by! XO, Mimi

A Pretty Quicky

I can't believe how quickly this came together. The stamped image was in my pile of "already stamped and colored" pile. It's just nice and sweet!

A Little Love to Share

Here's Katie's Valentines Day Card only I added WE on the striped paper with glittery letter stickers, before giving it to her.

I know that I got the sketch from a blog but I have searched and searched and cannot find it. Sorry.

Have a great weekend! XO, Mimi

My Baby's Birthday!

Yesterday was my Katie's 17th Birthday. We went to Panera for lunch, her choice. Then over to the mall so she could try to spend some of her Birthday money. I cherish these times we spend together without fighting.

Here is a card I made last week but forgot to put it up. I made the paper pieces freehand while looking at the small rocket stamp from Cat's Pajamas. I love that rocket.

I hope you are having a great day! XO, Mimi

A Fun Day with Friends!

I spent the day, yesterday, with my upline and a few gals in our group. We get together once a month for a shoebox swap.

It's always nice to be with wonderful friends especially when they are so talented and fun.

In the group photo, back row: Lynn, Sue Dillon, Debbie Moczek, Cindy Marer and Kathy Linder. Front row: Laura Currey, Me

Sorry ladies if I spelled anyone's name wrong.

I'll try to get some pictures of our swaps up this week. Have a great day! XO, Mimi

Another Senior Card

This is the other card the Seniors will be making. I love the colors and the fact that we are using up some paper that I have had for a while now.

Again, much of the work is already done for them. I even pre-knot the ribbon and stick it to a glue dot sheet. All they have to do is peel and stick.

Hope you all have a great Friday! I have a very sore throat and am waiting to hear from the doctor for an appt. The soreness goes all the way up into my right ear so I am concerned. I will keep you in the loop.

XO, Mimi

Loads of Love for my Cricut Expression!

I have a card class at Michaels tomorrow. The ladies that come to this class each month, are elderly and have less dexterity. So, I always try to do a lot of prep for them. This way they have the ability to make a nice project with little effort. They are all so sweet and I look forward to the classes.

This is one of the cards they will make. Everything is cut from the Cricut Expression. They just have to stick it together.

I love it and hope they will too! XO, Mimi

Out with the Old...

My baby is turning 17 on the 12th. My, how time flies!

She asked me to make her a new sign for her bedroom door.

She felt the clipboard has served its time and she needs something a little more mature.

The clipboard went with her old room theme which was purple, alien green and Buzz Blaster blue.

The new theme is black and white with a small touch of turquoise. So, I used some Am. Crafts paper, my Cricut Expression with the Mini Monograms and Plantin Schoolbook cartridges and lots of dollar bin rhinestones!

I think it turned out very chic! Happy Tuesday! XO, Mimi

Happy Monday Morning

This is such a bright card with all of the glitter. I made this while playing around at my desk yesterday. The stars are cut out with my Cricut Expression and the George cartridge. The floral paper is new from MAMBI. I got it in a stack at Michaels.

Hope you had a great weekend! XO, Mimi

What's Up!?

Sorry I have been missing for a few days. I have been working on my schedule for Michaels and trying to get ready for Softball. Today is our first practice for Maggie and I have volunteered to be Team Parent. This is a huge deal because I am extremely selfish with my time. I am going to try to be the best Team Parent EVER!!!
Last night I went to a friend's house to play and came up with these three cards. Not bad but not great. I had fun thought and that's the important thing!

Oh yeah, I almost forgot, Maggie finally learned how to ride a bike without training wheels. Yeah! Thanks to her friend Payton! Way to go Maggie!!!

Have a great weekend! XO, Mimi
